Windy Acres is a combined effort of Phil and Walda Rogers. Since the early 60s Phil has raised and trained Brittanys. Walda has many years breeding and training Labrador Retrievers. Together they  bring over 70 years of experience to the operation, along with their love for working hunting dogs.

Business Goals 
Our desire is to insure every customer, if possible, becomes a friend .
 Our dogs are our family and we consider placement very carefully. We take pride in quality blood lines and breeding. The introduction of the breed and the protection of the Epagneul Breton standard is extremely important to our kennel. We mandate UKC standards for the Epagneul Breton Breed .

Our Dogs
Our breed stock has been carefully selected to insure the production of outstanding gun dogs and companions for the modern day hunter. We are very proud of our lines from France, Norway, Italy and Ireland. Our dogs hunt fields and marsh with a great desire to retrieve. We maintain a bird coop with 50 or more birds at all times for training the entire year.
Windy Acres registers every dog UKC, AKC and NAVHDA every pup qualifies for the same registry.

Socialization
 We believe for the development of a good, calm and  patient hunting or companion dog you must socialize early.  Our pups are handled from the day they are born.  Kids from all over come to play and pet them.  Dogs and cats are introduced , noise, play, fun and feathers are also a large part of this first few weeks of life.  If Walda had her way we would keep every puppy!
